Christ Our Example

The Apostle Peter calls us to imitate Jesus Christ in His example of patient, humble, submissive suffering as He was abused by unjust authorities at the time of His crucifixion.

The Christian Employee

As Christians, we should be ideal employees.  We're called to submit to our bosses, giving them "all respect" and full obedience.  Ultimately we do our work "heartily, as unto the Lord."

Submitting to Civil Government

In 1Peter 2:13-17 Christians are called to submit ourselves to "every human institution." Three reasons are also provided for why this is so important.

Abstain from Fleshly Lusts
