Some form of persecution is inevitable for all Christians. This passage exhorts believers to prepare for persecution in these ways: (1) Be zealous, (2) Be fearless, (3) Be submitted to the Lordship of Christ, (4) Be ready to defend your faith, and (5) Keep a good conscience.
